I truly hate putting pit bull on any dog's description,it decreases their chance of adoption. Fact is,we adopted a pit bull that comes back to visit and I would trust him with any child. He's a sweetie. Which causes me to shout,"PUNISH THE DEED,NOT THE BREED!' Fact is,Slash's dad was on premises and he is a pit bull. The law came to confiscate the dogs because the owner was in violation of having pits in city limits in Camdenton. These dogs were happy where they were,but not the city. Slash is just 1 yr old and he does need some training. He's just too energetic and happy for his own good. He did okay on a leash and he tolerated me tying him,positioning him and then giving him a big hug for all his efforts. He's really got a cool name and he's just a gorgeous dog. He just needs some training and the right owner to be the best dog he can be. Please! Check your local laws before even thinking about Slash or any other breed listed as banned in your city so Slash's next home can be his forever home.
