Max's owner's didn't state a reason for surrender but,they listed a million and one good qualities,right down to being good with livestock. He is good with children,cats,other dogs and rides in a car well. They said he isn't leash trained but,after cowering in the run and then on the leash,we set off for a very enjoyable walk around the shelter and off into the field. We apparently had so much fun,he asked for more and didn't really want to go in the run. We took one more walk and then he walked right in. Great dog!
