Zoe was an owner release. She has a good,healthy weight but her skin has a fungal infection and her eyes are being treated,too. She was actually given to animal control,knowing that she would be euthanized the following week. This dog is a sweetheart! We really wish she liked cats but she doesn't,in fact she killed a cat according to the owner. That sounds really terrible in our eyes but we're glad it made them release her because this dog was only going to get sicker. It's hard to tell exactly what her coat is supposed to be,the hair is mostly gone and in it's place is a rough,scaly skin. The skin itself is dull. Despite this terrible circumstance,Zoe still loves people,she is so happy to get our attention and take a walk! She is getting along with her runmate wonderfully and she doesn't bark and act crazy in the run. She's just a good girl that looks a little ugly right now-a diamond in the rough. We are giving her baths and hopefully,soon,you'll see the new and improved Zoe. Our adoption fee includes spay or neuter. Any animal over 6 months will be altered before leaving the shelter.
